The lyrics of this album were largely inspired by Fyodor Dostoyevsky's 'The Brothers Karamazov', particularly the chapter
The Grand Inquisitor, and contain many quotes and allusions to said novel.

Comes in a gatefold sleeve with three revolving transparent, gold-foiled PVC dials attached with a screw that show the Earth, the orbits of the planets revolving around the Earth, and the zodiacs. These dials can be manually turned. Side D has an engraving featuring artwork by Martin Kvamme. It also comes with an insert that has a star map on one side and lyrics on the other.

Heliocentric was released with a box that is designed to incorporate this release as well.

800 copies were made on various colours of vinyl. The fraction of that made up by this release is unknown.
