Both selections were recorded sometime between May, 1921 - June, 1922 for Black Swan Records . Two takes of each were recorded and released either on Black Swan Records or Paramount. The first title appears on Black Swan Records 2019 with take P120-2, and the second title on Black Swan Records 2008 with take P124-3. Alternate takes of both titles were released on Paramount 12014.
Release date is based on first advertisement in the Chicago Defender.
